I've read various reviews before our stay, so my expectations were not high. I'm happy to say the hotel exceeded my expectations. Great value for money. Yes, the room was small, but this is a 3-star hotel in France, so that's to be expected. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean, room, sheets, towels, bathroom. Some people complained about sewage smell or mouldy bathroom, but ours was spotless. The location is great if you plan to visit the surroundings. Nice Riquier train station is 10 minutes away, so it is easy to go to Cannes, Monaco, Eze, Menton, Italy and other places along the railroad. Additionally, bus 600 stops in the street behind the hotel, I believe it also goes to Monaco/Eze/Menton. The hotel is within the walking distance from the Old Town and Garibaldi square, so it is easy to go to the airport. This location worked well for us, as sightseeing was the purpose of our trip. If you want to go to beach, that it's better to book somewhere closer to the promenade. I saw some people leaving negative reviews because of the construction works in the street in front of the hotel. We were warned about it during the booking process, so that's the risk we took. It would be unfair to complain about it. I must say that during our stay, there were no works in the street and it was quiet. Also, there were no issues with water supply, there was hot water and the pressure was great. It is also unfair to leave a bad review for hotel because there is no parking around or because the parking in Nice is expensive. Whenever I rent a car, I filter and search hotels with private parking. You cannot blame any hotel for the lack of public parking or/and high parking prices, it's on city of Nice. We were able to check in late, a bit after midnight, and there was a luggage room, so we were able to explore the city on our last day without having to drag our suitcases around. The check out time is great, you don't have to...

We wanted an active holiday to look around in Nice, Cannes, and Monaco/Monte Carlo with a nice place to sleep and have breakfast. The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast was always fresh and lovely with croasans, baguettes, delicious cheeses, crumbled eggs, bacon, cereals, olives, fresh vegetables and fruits, ect and there was gluten free options as well. There wasn't an iron and ironing board in the room, but it was accessible when we needed it. I missed the kettle from the room, but there was a coffee/tea/hot water machine available for 24/7 in the dining area. The location was perfect for us to get the tram, buses, and train and many kinds of restaurants. Lidle was close. The old part of the town with the shops and alleys was easily accessible on foot. We were absolutely satisfied with the Hotel Relais Acropolis.

We liked the location. The tram was really close. The riquier train station, the port and the old town amd the sea side was in walking distance. The room was small but clean, the beds were soft and comfortable. There were a Lidl close by and bakeries. The room worked with key cards, they give one for each of us( I was with my mother). The room had a nice Nice themed decore. They tidy up the room every day, and gave new towels for the used one. The room had two bed, a tv, a table with cher, a big shelfing and a suitcase rack and a private bathroom with hairdryer and a tub and toilet.

Szilvia

The room and beds were comfortable, the bathtub was great (my wife has been missing her baths in Europe, mostly showers in the hotel rooms) The breakfast was great. The staff is awesome. Manal was wonderful, she was very pleasant and extremely helpful. The location is great. Easy 3 minute to the Trams and approx. 15-20 minute walk to Vieux Nice and the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff (Audrey) was extremely welcoming and helpful making reservations for airport transfer and offering suggestions for local dining. Hôtel was economical and clean, perfect for our overnight stay before airport departure the following day. Did not have time for morning breakfast but it looked very good.
